Compound Words

Learning about Compound Words. We made a long list of compound words and then did these fun activities. They caught on pretty quickly. I love teaching compound words!!!!

 I found this cute activity on Teachers Pay Teachers. They make the rainbow, write the compound word on the rainbow and then write the two words on the clouds and draw the words on the raindrops. Pretty Cute and they did a great job!!

They had to pick their six favorite compound words and illustrate them and write them on drawing paper.
