This was a cute way to wrap up our money unit. The kids had a great time putting it together and it was a great review for the money unit we did in Math.

Seasons

While studying Weather we also did a short few days on Seasons. Another one of my favorite things to teach because there are so many cute things you can do with the seasons. They made these season's trees and I just love them!!

This was my anchor chart on the four seasons. I'm not a artist but I think it came out pretty good!



Compound Words

Learning about Compound Words. We made a long list of compound words and then did these fun activities. They caught on pretty quickly. I love teaching compound words!!!!

 I found this cute activity on Teachers Pay Teachers. They make the rainbow, write the compound word on the rainbow and then write the two words on the clouds and draw the words on the raindrops. Pretty Cute and they did a great job!!

Weather Unit

Last six weeks our science unit was over Weather. Here are some activities we did for that unit.

We started off with a weather web.

Weather Flip Books

We painted different types of weather pictures.

Learning about Clouds-They made the different types of clouds and then we read the book Little Cloud and they made something they might see a cloud of in the sky.

And ending it with a rainbow activity-Roy G. Biv-learning the colors of the rainbow in order.
