It should be an interesting year. I think the first year with a new curriculum is always hardest...thank goodness I'm not the person who plans the math for our Kindergarten team!!

New Math
Wednesday morning I left the nice cool temperatures of the mountains in New Mexico and returned to Midland for a few days. There were a few things I needed to get done and one of those was to attend a training over the new math program for our district. There were things I liked and didn't like about it, but it is TONS better than what we had!!! We didn't have student workbooks with our old program and we had to make LOTS of copies for math lessons. This program has student books...YEAH!!!
