Beginning of December

The beginning of December did not start off well for me! The Monday we got back from Thanksgiving I started feeling bad. During the PE time I started feeling really bad and so I looked in the mirror and my left eye was red and swollen. It kept getting worse during the afternoon so I called the eye doctor and went to see her. In the past year I've had a lot of problems with my left eye with scratches and erosions. I thought this was just another scratch which takes about 3-4 days to heal but I can't work when I have them because you can't open your eye and you can't see. Well, it wasn't a scratch but an ulcer and a pretty bad one at that. They even sent me to Lubbock to see a specialist up there. I was out the rest of the week. I hated to be out this time of year, because there is so much great stuff we do. But it couldn't be helped. I went back the next week still not feeling too good but made it through. The last week I was back to normal and I tried to cram a lot of stuff in that week! I was so busy I didn't take too many pictures. Also poor Elf in the Shelf did not get used this year because I was out. I'm so hoping that I do not have anything else go wrong with that eye again!
