Dr. Seuss Unit- Put me In the Zoo

Technically Put me in the Zoo is not a Seuss book, but its from the line of the Seuss inspired book and I found this cute craft and couldn't resist. I know I'm behind on posting my Seuss stuff. Things have just gotten in the way the last couple of weeks.

We did this on Friday, February 20th.
We read the book and then talked about why the main character wanted to live in the zoo. We then discussed why he showed the children his tricks so they could put him in the zoo. The kids loved the paper plate craft that went with it.

This was also picture day and I was out for the afternoon when I went out of town, it was a crazy day but lots of fun!!
